If this is Contadors last TDF, I wonder if he will be granted the honour of leading the peloton onto the Champs Elysee.

The Great Alberto Contador doesn't ask for permission...he takes what's rightfully his...the blood of his opponents will turn the Seine river into a red mess...mark my words... ;)

Anyone have any information on Kristoff? Is he able to sprint today? Is he planning on trying to sprint?

He is still in a lot of pain and says he lacks the power. I wouldn't rule him out completely.

Probably Voeckler and Zubeldia will get the honour.

I thought about Voeckler but I have a feeling he will launch an early Vino attack for his swansong.

Zubeldia could get the honour but we wouldnt be able to see it...

Would Sky really care that much for a guy who won't even be there next year?

Bardet had 13 seconds in time bonuses, which without those seconds (Landa had none) he would be off the podium.

This stat, although he came up one second short makes Landa's ITT yesterday into a masterpiece. Landa did everything he needed to do on the road to get on the podium while at times dragging Froome along with him. The fact that Bardet hung on by one second to a spot he didn't deserve after that awful ITT should hopefully raise more questions about those stupid time bonuses in the Tour.

I was never a Mikal Landa fan before this Tour, but I am now.

Ducrot suggesting Uran should attack cause Froome should really get drunk after one glass of champagne

I disagree. Everyone knows what the rules are before the race starts, whether there are boni or not, and winning a position by getting time boni is just as legitimate as any other way.

The asterisk is the bottle thing, but I think most people agree that the punishment for Uran was stupid to begin with.

Personally I like the time bonus if it's not excessive. GC riders should be fighting for stage wins.
