Terrible crash. You have to ask if this kind of descent is really necessary for the race.

The king is dead, but he will live in the hearts of cycling lovers and admirers of his panache, style and skill! Alberto Contador is a legend. Maybe not to all, but definitely to me

I needed him to win 1 Tour de France post ban

Just 1.

He had 5 opportunities. Never even made the podium. 6 if we include 2011.

Now they will ALWAYS say that he was *** post ban.

That was a horrible, horrible crash. Poor Porte. He went face first into the cliff wall with his bike after sliding across the road. That was awful. Hate to see that in cycling. :(

So it's gonna be Froome, Aru and Bardet for the win at this point...Man, so many challengers gone with the crashes...

Bad crash, Porte's fault, took out Martin as well.

Given that Aru was exposed as weak today, Froome is as nailed on as the winner as one can possibly be.

Porte isn't getting up. DNF for him. Looks like his error, cut the inside and took Martin out too, though Martin is back on the bike.

You can crash out at any time in any place. It's how many risks you take or whether you are paying attention.

Looking at the crash I think Martin unintentionally faded left and Porte had no where to go.
