Maybe this one should have been a Chat MTF...That road could use about a meter more of width. I'm all for new climbs but crashes like this make me reconsider just how dangerous this needs to be. :/

Bike racing is always going to be dangerous. Even on flat we have horrible crashes.

Movistar team selection is a joke.... Uran is good descending, I think better than Froome
Well to be fair, their best GC hope crashed out.

Yep, that's when I knew Froome had won the Tour... That Movistar team had it's hopes pinned on the one two of Quintana and Valverde... At least get up there in GC if not win, which I doubt either of them could..

TDF took out 5 MTFs to force action and tv excitement, it's pretty low

That looked seriously horrible. Hopefully Porte ain't hurt critical.

Look how frightened Fuglsang is. Normally he's an superb descender. Former mountainbiker, used to train regularly with Rasmussen.

Bardet on the other hand - > Absolutely fearless. And he saw everything.

So why is Froome not neutralizing this descent so Dan Martin can get back?

Because Bardet attacked welp

if you gonna troll, at least do it properly

Bardet didn't attack immediately.

Everyone working together with Froome again, did he send them threat letters or what?

I condemn your comments as much as 'JackRabbitSlims', but you don't deserve to get banned. You have freedom of speech, no matter in how disgusting and disgraceful a manner you decide to use that right for.

The Australian commentators are annoying as heck.

Was about to post the same thing. Complete garbage those two.
I will never understand this forum. They're one of the better duos I've come across in any sport, is there anything this forum doesn't hate?

It's like the Dave Chapelle player haters' ball skit, but it's not funny.

Whether you agree or not, freedom of speech doesn't apply in this forum. By registering you agree that certain topics and opinions are in breach of the rules and will get you banned.

Actually you're wrong, as I got to know. Insulting / being mean / whatever you call it to riders gets a ban around CN forums.

Read T&Cs . I shuld have

Sure, it's always dangerous, so the organisers shouldn't be adding to that. Maybe something like this is fine in the Dauphine where poor descenders can just back off and take the time hit. But in the Tour, where the stakes are so high, there will always be riders taking too many risks beyond their abilities to stay with a group or chase back on - it's almost odds on that there would be a bad crash. Irresponsible of the organisers imo.
