so, the time limit is 40 minutes. a lot of riders should be out
That is very less.
I would have expected over an hour.
This is not good news for a lot of riders...
If Demare is over the limit, nobody will be out

Is Martinelli still the Astana DS, Vino should fire him on the spot!

Come on, Froome didn't ride Vino's farewell criterium without expecting something in return now and then.

That would explain the unexplainable! Marginal gains...

On twitter allegations that Froome head butted Aru that caused Porte's crash..........

lmfao... Froome was miles infront of Aru and also had a rider between them (Fuglsang).

LIkley just people sharing the earlier incident of Froome trying to put Aru into the crowd and mixing with tweets from the Porte crash

Seriously - who on Earth would have ever thought of URAN making a comeback, let alone winning a stage? :surprised: :D

What a stage - for all the good and bad reasons combined....feel so sorry for LRP - that's not the way to leave the Tour....

Just because you're wearing a yellow jersey doesn't mean you're above the rest when it comes to rules.
It's not a rule. It's a custom.

Blindly following ancient customs and traditions does not mean that the dead are alive, but that the living are dead. - Ibn Khaldun

Serious question, why do you not troll here when GVA races for the win? It's like you transform from a troller to a fanboi instantly.

Only Barguil was further up on the road then.

Oh and did Froome wait for Nibali when he had a flat tire at the base of Alpe D'huez in 2015? Did Nibali whine about it to the media? Answer is two times no.

I think Bardet was ahead as well at that point already, but even if he wasn't, firstly the race was full-on, secondly Aru, Uran and Fuglsang were also there, why are you only complaining about Froome? Thirdly, getting time on Quintana is crucial for all GC contenders, and lastly I thought Aru's attack was amusing and he shouldn't have stopped it.

I'm of the opinion no one should ever wait. I'm targeting Froome because his fans insulted Aru for not waiting while Froome never waits either.

There's a huge difference between not waiting when an accident happens when the race is on and attacking at the moment a contender has a mechanical. I understand you're new to cycling and I reckon it's easy for new fans to conflate those two race situations, but they're extremely different.

Plus, not much of a point about getting so over-emotional over this stuff. Targeting riders over what their fans say or not say. Just enjoy the racing and don't get bitter and unglued over it. You'll take more out of being a road cycling fan that way.

What's this "waiting" conversation about?
If the race is NOT on and YELLOW JERSEY has mechanical, one should not attack.
If the race is on or it's not yellow jersey, there's no truce.

Just because you're wearing a yellow jersey doesn't mean you're above the rest when it comes to rules.

Nobody should ever wait.
Rules and norms aren't the same thing. Everyone knows how it works, there are just certain things you don't do. Do you even know any cyclists? You know, there are certain things you just don't do on a group ride. It's like that.
It might be a competition, but it's also a community of sorts. You can't just do whatever you want to the rest of the peloton without some sort of reaction occurring.

The most amazing thing today is that El Pistolero has not been banned for trolling yet. How much more can you try?

When will you get banned for baiting?

You guys are hypocrites. You insult Aru for not waiting, but don't do the same when Froome waits for no one (he never does).

And trolling.

Everytime i come to this forum, gloin is having some kind of personal attack on posters and deliberately provoking, yet the second anyone says anything he doesn't like, he goes crying to the mods.

Like a cycling SJW

Same to you man, same to you. Constantly bitching. Check yourself in mirror. Where do I attack posters?

Pointing out blatant trolling is attacking now. Good to know Hitch, noted

You still bitter when I said Contador should retire or hes not gonna make the podium? Which one was it?

Haha. Nice try. We both know you did the Contador quip at the end because you thought it would annoy me to be labelled a Contador fan when everyone knows I'm not. In fact thats one of the ways you used to troll in the past. Trolling has become so natural for you.

And the use of your language "bitter when I said..." suggests strongly that you made those comments with the sole intention of making people bitter.
Which makes it so much more pathetic when you complain about others doing it.

Funny though that you needed 3 takes at responding (the original line and then the ones editing in earlier) shows you can't take it as well as you give.

So what's the argument for not disqualifying Froome?
