That was a great final km by Dan Martin, I didn't think he would hold that gap.

Very impressive that Latour managed to force his way into what was otherwise the completely predictable Ardennes guys podium. You don’t split Martin/Alaphilippe/Valverde on a Mur unless you are super strong. What a versatile rider.

Am I the only one not seeing anything out of the ordinary in the riders using cars to make their way back?

Maybe I wasn't paying attention but it looked pretty status quo from both Sunweb and Astana

I doubt it. Bardet likely only lost time because he had to chase back on after his flat.
