Didn't see any moto close during the chase but then again that was what the french TV chief chose to show so who knows

I think Bardet and Naesen really made a difference. The time gap to the EF-Drapac group stayed the same, but the Landa group cut the gap after AG2R joined in

Nice comeback win by Degenkolb

In terms of GC this stage was a dud. Jungels won some seconds, Uran lost some time. Porte is gone, rest is all in the front group.
In the final cobble strokes Dumoulin and Valverde looked really good
