Thomas chasing Bernal is some mark-ass *** move.
He is not chasing Bernal, not dragging anyone with him. He simply attacked. Once got caught up to he wasn't dragging the group up to Bernal but stopped working.
Valid tactic and not detrimental to Egan at all

Ineos should pull G out the race for that move, absoloute pathetic. He knows this is his last chance to win a GT, so can sorta see why he did it but he pushed on way too long and Bernal would have probably took a miinute if he did not do anything.

Are you kidding? The lead was 45 seconds and growing at that point.

BS. Thomas' attack dragged the rest of the group up to him and helped close the gap to Bernal.
Anyway, legit WOW at Alaphilippe!

Yeah. And is 37s now. They went so slow that even Alaphillipe caught up. Thomas didn't inject much pace. He tried to get away and slowed the moment he saw he couldn't. There was a chance that thanks to his move Julian would crack, but it seems they both went too late

It was down to 20. If he hadn't done that Bernal would have over a minute right now. Stupid tactics from Ineos

Haha you cannot be serious he got Pinot to chase after him and then it was on the gap was growing and growing he just could not bare Bernal overtaking him and seen his TDF slipping away. Bernal will drop him like a stone now i hope. He as shown he is not a teamplayer. God i wish Froome was hear with no GT in his legs, G got way too big for his boots saying he should be coleader.

No one was doing any chasing when Bernal was up road unitll Thomas did his stupid move. I pray Bernal is a second ahead and Ineos make him work for Egan. Froome would have walked all over Thomas.

It seems like every British gc contender (Wiggins, Froome, Thomas) has serious ego problems & inferior complexes and hence ruins his teammates gc ambitions (Froome, Landa, Bernal) by craving for recognition!

Never had any problems with Stannard, absolutely likable pal!

Well done Quintana and fck you Movistar
What on earth you got against Movistar this stage? No one else tried anything on the penultimate climb. Obviously, Landa didn't have the legs today. They got the win. Excellent stage for them.

Anyway, I'm happy with today's result. The only guy on that top 6 to gain time on Alaphilippe is the only guy I'd rather see win than him.
