True, I wasn't expecting much. There's the hope though, especially with the attacks that happened on the first climb, that someone is going to go crazy and attack from miles out. Even if as I suggested earlier that Jumbo threw Dumoulin into the break, we'd have a bit of interest.

The strategy is probably make the race hard and the break stick. Let Kwiatkowski work for that. On the HC climb Carapaz should be able to drop Hirschi, even more so with hard climbing in his legs. Et voila, KOM jersey for Carapaz. But lets see if that really plays out like this.
