We're just going to get the break going all day and Gesink riding tempo at the front of the Peleton keeping the break in about 5/6 mins aren't we?
Don't know why anyone thought we'll have attacks in the middle of the stage. Riders will be protecting positions above anything. Probably only Lopez and Pogacar will go on one of the last two climbs.
Ineo$ seem determined to drag Hirschi all the way to the finish so maybe it's part of a deal and he's going to be train fodder for them soon

The strategy is probably make the race hard and the break stick. Let Kwiatkowski work for that. On the HC climb Carapaz should be able to drop Hirschi, even more so with hard climbing in his legs. Et voila, KOM jersey for Carapaz. But lets see if that really plays out like this.Hirschi the jersey, Kwiatkowski the stage could be a fair deal.
(don't think they are actually making any such agreement though)

I wonder if he has a really short stem or something.Bilbao's rding style looks as if he is lose balance and going to fall over anytime
That was sneaky by CarapazHaha, very nicely done. Both by Carapaz and Hirschi.
Yep. Kwiat 90%, Carapaz 6%, Bilbao 2%, Hirshci 2%Everyone in the front group is riding and both Ineos and Hirschi know the strongest will drop the rest on Glières...
Needs to drop Hirschi by a minute on the Glieres then.Clever move by Carapaz but Hirschi is too explosive. Carapaz should just focus on the stage win now and not waste any more energy.
