Yeah I'm sure there are loads of economic/environmental reasons why it wasn't paved but it was gimmicky to have it there. Very rough mountain gravel, not even the type you have in Tuscania for Strade Bianche and definitely not the Finestre type of dirt

Pog got 6th and roglic was 7th. Pogacar basically needs to finish one spot above Carapaz on the Planche section of the TT and assuming thats in the top 5, he wins it I think
