I love this type of attack! He's quickly becoming a favourite rider of mine, and that has nothing to do with him being danish!

Very rarely we've seen rider who is not a sprinter and not a GC rider to win two stages in one year. Let's see if Kragh Andersen can do that.

Bennett in the group is the perfect accidental ally for Kragh. DQS won’t chase him, others much less likely to do so if Bennett is sitting on.

Pretty sure this is better than Col de La Loze and Glieres.. and thats pretty sad

Hard profiles/mountains makes everyone afraid to blow themselves up and lose everything. It becomes a race of not cracking or dropping. Not attacks and more attacks.

I think people expectations that mountains means a lot of action is false. When in reality it is about riding smart and not have a bad day. Take advantage when an opponent is having a bad day, and try when you feel you are having a good day. If you need to gain back time or put more time into your rivals.

The fact is everyone are on their limit most of the time in the high mountains and the accelerations costs a lot.

I also see a lot people wanting attacks. They get it, but the rider dont succeed and they immediately starts questioning it. Hypocrites.

"Easier" stages could be more fun because attacking, doesnt cost as much. You can sustain the attack and pace for a longer period of time. Instead of a quick acceleration and then having to immediately slow down. Find a rhythm. On a super hard stage.
