I think they did great on several occasions and basically controlled the whole stage, only to realize Sagan isnt the Sagan of 2016.
Well, Sagan's chain came off one time, he got relegated after getting boxed in another time, and they completely burned themselves off dropping Bennett another time, so he had no support in the final 3km into Lyon and had to try and lead out and win a bunch sprint solo. Even 2016 Sagan would've had trouble with all that.

Sagan 2016 would have won the jersey easily, its lazy to question his team.
