Would be awesome to have another mountain stage after the final TT. 4 big climbs, almost no flats. Then to Paris.
For many years, the last stage used the vallée de Chevreuse which has some decent Cat. 4 climbs, as well as the approach via the plateau de Saclay, very windy with the possibility for echelons. But the loops on the Champs and the pageantry have turned the last stage into a celebration. An aggressive design could put ten punchy climbs (like 1km @ 10% - 1.5km @ 7-8%), the plateau, then the climb to Meudon's observatory (2km @ 6.8%) with less than 15km to go.

No such finish today. No way to make up a minute. Sagan will try to save his Tour, but it looks like Bennett vs. Ewan ftw.
