De Gendt's not making it today, really good attempt though.
Bora back then was called NetApp.
The team that was called Cannondale back then, was what used to be Liquigas. Sagan left to ride for Tinkoff, and Cannondale merged with Garmin to form what is now EF.
I don't think that was the only time Sagan's teams did that. They certainly did it on a couple of occasions in the Tour of California, but I think they got caught out a couple of times as well. Taylor Phinney got he jump on them and stole a stage once.
Amount of training at same level with F1 teams. At least the change was fast.
Well he's had so much practice now...At least the change was fast.
They have a lot of practiceAt least the change was fast.
Whats the Time limit today? Is there any reason for group 2 not to fall back to group 3? Except pride?
Time limit should be around 15-17 minutes....Is there any reason for group 2 not to fall back to group 3? Except pride?
Whats the Time limit today?
I thought they might have it down as that group 3 might miss the time cut, and people like Ewan and Bol are in it, meaning fewer threats in sprints in coming stages. If they drop back and form one large gruppetto they'll inevitably be allowed to stay in. At this point it's less likely that that will be a factor, but it's fairly reasonable thinking. Is there any reason for group 2 not to fall back to group 3? Except pride?
Too many minutes back. Dani Martinez is there and there are some EF guys helping the chase for some reason. Is there any reason for group 2 not to fall back to group 3? Except pride?
342332145532 puncture for Pogacar. How is that possible??
