Of the GC guys, Poga showed the most fight (and Martin). Dumoulin never was in form for this tour as a GC guy, but he can help for sure as a domestique. TJV have to be all-in for Roglic, who looked strong at times today, but one never knows how he feels (he has the poker face).

Again though, Pinot usually breaks fans' hearts right near the end of the race, making all of the romance and suffering for nothing. He doesn't usually just capitulate until the fans have been on a rollercoaster first.

Ended up a fun stage. Pogacar looks stong but so does Quintana - looks liberated by leaving Movistar. I honestly expected nothing of him on this tour but he's riding really well.

Pleased to see Ag2R get a stage win, well deserved.

That's a little bit harsh on Wiggins. He had to turn himself inside out to stay with the natural climbers.
