...Wow! This is turning out to be a great stage!!
Feels a bit like a cross between the 2008 Tour and the 2011 Giro. 2008 Tour because it had pretty weak mountain stages but because there weren't many mountain stages and an early ITT, all of them were raced harder than they otherwise might have been. And the 2011 Giro because it was really clear who the best rider at the race was, but there was plenty of action in the battle for 2nd including a couple of epic stages....Wow! This is turning out to be a great stage!!
Stage has been too easy lol
Of course he will. He outsprints Kuss 125% of the time. The winner might not actually be one of the current front two. If Valverde catches Kuss, Kuss will sit up and I'm not sure if Valverde will pull him to the finish.
Hes already up 5 minutes, no reason to waste energy. Hes still gotta win the vuelta too.So much chat about Cavendish beating a weak field. Equally true of yellow. What a bunch of non entities.
For an unbeatable alient there are an awful lot of very ordinary riders hanging with him today.
Yeah, battle for 2nd is the race to watch now...other than stage winsFeels a bit like a cross between the 2008 Tour and the 2011 Giro. 2008 Tour because it had pretty weak mountain stages but because there weren't many mountain stages and an early ITT, all of them were raced harder than they otherwise might have been.
