Yeah, battle for 2nd is the race to watch now...other than stage wins
As well as Sepp not doing badly, I'd also suspect Valverde doesn't want to risk the Olympics on a David Arroyo descent, at least not just for a stage win.Valverde not descending as fast as I expected. Kuss has this.
It was Valverde's idiocy to only go up the road on the day which goes to the highest altitude. If he hasn't learnt his own issues with altitude after 19 pro seasons, then there is no helping him.Only an amazing Sepp Kuss between Valverde and a stage win. Why, why, why does Jumbo need to send 3 man up the road today AND Kuss having the only good day of the Tour?
Unlucky
Yeah, my tactical accumen was not as good as the team's...which is why I'm not a DS...So Jumbo went for everything today and it all worked out. Well played, I must admit.
Doesn't always work out for him but he's certainly not boring.PMSL Carlton talking about us being "enthralled" by Sepp Kuss. Yup, he's known for bringing the action.
When let off the leash, sure. When he's given reason not to lead, he's the dullest man in the péloton.Doesn't always work out for him but he's certainly not boring.
Sepp Kuss can actually end up making the race this time around if he has these legs in the Pyrenees. Can make it super hard on these MTFs for JonasPMSL Carlton talking about us being "enthralled" by Sepp Kuss. Yup, he's known for bringing the action.
Kuss building a respectable resume despite his image around here.
Finished it off nicely, congrats.
And it's not like we didn't know UAE lacks the manpower, but there aren't numbers to exploit the possibility.
At least Pogačar didn't drop them all today. That's encouraging.
