So, Vingegaard was top 3 among climbers and top 3 among time-trialists at this Tour. Very strong 2nd place. Carapaz a very respectable 3rd. Pogacar . . . what can be said? Incredible rider. Head and shoulders the best GC guy, and he's only 22.

Vuelta start list could be incredibly promising depending on a few maybes

It was fun for 9 minutes to speculate whether Pogacar will blow by Van Aert tbh.

Glad O'Connor hung on for fourth. Best Tour finish for an Australian on debut. Much better second TT for Kelderman. Uran's race really collapsed in the last three days.

I didn't experienced the great all rounders of the pasts, but I did witness Wout Van Aert, I don't even think Pog is freakier, Wout is an extreme and nearly complete version of everyone good I've seen

ITT's at the end of a GC are over-rated - There are usually minimal changes to GC - You are likely to get more changes with a mountain stage.
