There are many great stories possible today - Cavendish or van Aert or a breakaway or Greipel... now imagine Cees Bol winning it. :D
Bol would be a good one. He beats a former 4 time winner in the TT and pulls it together to win the sprint in Paris. And then wakes up tomorrow realizing it was all a dream and he lost his lead outs wheel again…… he’s got this!

Why do these other sprint teams like getting beaten by DQS so much? Their only tactic is bringing sprinters to the line and hoping they will somehow beat the DQS train, which never happens.

Morkov could probably win half of the sprints himself. No slipstream and he still manages to stay in front of anyone not named Cavendish.
Off all the stages Cav has won, he could have won the one he finished second. None of the others the way they played out.

BEX should just lead out Mezgec for the final. He's having to jam on the brakes to make sure he doesn't take Matthews' points in all the intermediates.

I agree - Matthews has wrapped up 2nd place in the green jersey competition.
