Giro d'Italia is fast approaching - Check out the Cycling News Giro d’Italia 2022 preview!
"Screw you ASO, we're going to Spain"They should protest by taking an alternate route to the finish. Don't follow, lead.
Quite a lot of BS coming out from both accounts , thats why i wondered.Technically who even cares?
As long as he gets the 7-10 pin...
Seriously, they're correct this time around. In difference to the Giro d'Italia. It was absolutely unnecessary to include these tricky stages at the start of the Tour de France WITHOUT a starting time trial that settles the times of the riders in advance or another stage on Sunday or Monday that does just this. Having these stages with small gaps on the general classification and everyone wanting to be at front was just deliberately staging drama that resulted in serious injuries for humans. All for the action. So now the riders are protesting. Against what, exactly? What changes do they want? Also, hasn't the roadbook been available for a long time? Why not make objections against the parcours then instead of now in the middle of the race?
Speaking to God, on the CN forum?Good job it's not raining or they might not even have got off the buses
A prologue would change nothing. I don't see any GC contender who has lost 20-30 seconds back off in the fight for position.Seriously, they're correct this time around. Of course Prudhomme & Gouvenou won't be fired again and that clown Lappartient already built a bridge for them to escape their responsibility.
Vegni probably retires after some little polemics only.
- should have brought KronAnother busy couple of weeks for De Gendt I guess now Lotto are free to stagehunt...
The are not protesting the route design, they are protesting that they were not listened to, when they asked for the 3K limit to be moved out.Seriously, they're correct this time around. OR - alternatively - they don't feel like you do about itThe peloton is ridicolous.
At Giro 2020 they striked until they obtained to move the starting town in Morbegno, just because they said the stage was too long..
Here, after the horrific final of yesterday, it's enough 10 km of protest...
They fear ASO and Lappartient, and their power.
this does not change what I wrote: for a more little problem they were near to cancel a Giro stage. The are not protesting the route design, they are protesting that they were not listened to, when they asked for the 3K limit to be moved out.
He'd need someone to lead him to the table and lift his fist though...Julian looks too boyish to be in the Hinault role, Andre Greipel however, there's a man with some presence, I can see him bursting into a room and banging his fist on a table.
Well, that would have changed very little as De Gendt rightfully said! The are not protesting the route design, they are protesting that they were not listened to, when they asked for the 3K limit to be moved out.
Mummy on Tour...........I guess he sleeps on his belly........Roglic, half man, half road rash

He's got a special upright sarcophagus they lock him in at nightMummy on Tour...........I guess he sleeps on his belly........
It's not really an uphill sprint, so I doubt Merlier, Démare (if he's not feeling yesterday's crash too much), Matthews, Cavendish, Bol and others should be in trouble. I don't think Sagan and Colbrelli are fast enough in this field either.Last KM's profile would suggest WVAert vs Sagan vs Colbrelli.
I'll go with Sagan...
How do you guys see it?
On this page of this thread you’d moaned about Brian smith and Carlton Kirby.do you actually watch the bike race or are you just going to give us commentary of whatever British Eurosport say???Kirby complaining the fines are in Swiss francs. Absolute douche.
