I also found it very strange how he always felt the need to use that term. I have never seen it elsewhere...

No, at least not in that context.

It could have been interesting if the break had been able to work together. Now Schelling and Perez don't even get to sprint against each other.

so apparently alpecin is gonna ride for Philipsen again today and not Merlier! I would be pretty pissed if I were Merlier... also Philipsen is x 15 in the live odds.

Colbrelli mad at Bouhanni, but it seems Morkov was the real issue there. Cutting into Sagan and slowing up the group.

Looks like Bouhanni was just avoiding the Bora guy who was pretty much stopping in the middle of the road lol. Then Cavendish tried to go across to follow Morkov.

What is the issue with Cees Bol

every sprint they put him up there and then he just seems to stop sprinting ? Why ?
Make not sense ..he literally just stops ...without even giving it any discernible effort
Almost like he doesn't want to be there
My impression is that he can only be very fast when he has good legs and gets a perfect leadout, which is why he wins so rarely. I really can't understand why a team as regimented as DSM is so committed to such an unreliable sprinter.

Good to see that today we have an old-school cavalry charge finish on one of those long, wide tree-lined perfectly straight boulevards. No roundabouts, no chicanes, no satnav required

No headwind either - just a pure test of speed
