"these courses are too unsafe"
cavendish cuts over three bike widths in the sprint and almost takes out 3 riders
"wow what a hero, this guy is unbelievable. a great day for cycling"
That was 2 people coming together, not one person cutting across another.

Looked like they were both trying to win there and Merlier just didn't have it
Exactly, both drifted into each other and Cavendish was ahead.
Glad I'm not the only one who saw that. I mean, the rule is about deviating from your line, and Cav literally came back across the centerline of the road and forced Philipsen and Merlier to stop pedaling."these courses are too unsafe"

Nah, Merlier was clearly leading out Philipsen again. Other way around and I think Merlier wins. He's faster and a better finisher.

He had to get in front of them to do it, and he was clearly the fastest, but he did do it.
It's quite obvious.
they are using the fastest sprinter in this peloton as a leadout
Alpecin are just idiots again. Merlier is faster, just go with him
I don't think Merlier ever stopped sprinting until he was forced to by Cav coming across himNah, Merlier was clearly leading out Philipsen again. Other way around and I think Merlier wins. He's faster and a better finisher.
Wasn't exactly the tidiest of sprints.Bit disappointed to see the rather salty reaction of some "fans" calling for a disqualification. Cav did nothing wrong there at all.
i've seen 100s worseWasn't exactly the tidiest of sprints.
Your totally right, just as in Turkey, Cavendish is showing to be faster than Philipsen. But I guess that for Alpecin the Tour is already a great success so they don't care much.
