Peloton riding go karts while Pogacar cruises past in a ferrari. Insane that
2'47''. Didn't make the podium (of largest gaps).Ras 2007 stage 8 was pretty massive IIRC, most weren't considering him a contender at that point though, although according to Dekker he had been telling people he was in tour winning form for ages.
Going back to 2012 you mean?I take spectacle, not ridicule. I feel like we are going back to the past. When is the next UCI president election?
Froome and Contador matched up in 5 races in 2014; Contador beat Froome in 4 of them and they both crashed out in the 5th.
That's depressing.Froome '18: 3'00''
Pogačar '21: 3'20''
Landis '06: 5'42''
1999Biggest gap to nearest GC competitors in a single stage since?

How far back in GC was he before that stage?Nairoman in Valloire. But afterall luckily he was not a GC contender (according to Unzue).
He meant a single stage!Did Froome every win by more than 3 mins on stage? Maybe Nibali in 2014?
WvA will take back 9 minutes like Ocana on the way to Orcières-Merlettes.If we expect van Aert to lose more significant time in the weeks coming Pogacar already has about 5 minutes on his main competitors...
again conveniently leaving out that froome basically crashed hard in the dauphine after froome had beat him in both the ITT and the first MTF. contador was in no way at all looking like he was going to "dominate" as pog just had. no way at all. it was actually less likely that he beat froome (between the years of 2013 and 2015 dominant victories) or Nibali who had a full 3 minutes on him and wenty on to completely dominate the rest of that TDF.
contador never once won a stage, wore any jersey category or stood on any podium after he was DQ-ed. fact.
Froome '18: 3'00''
Pogačar '21: 3'20''
Landis '06: 5'42''
I thought so. But this is a lot worse than that if you see the gaps.Going back to 2012 you mean?
37'33''Has someone cared to work out the time limit? (yes, I'm too lazy do it myself)
Quite impressive that he needed far less distance to make his gap than the other two. That's depressing.
