The slower they climb Télégraphe, the faster they can pace Galibier without catching the break.

No. He'll be there for Rog/Vingo.
Roglic should lead out Vingegaard.Roglič and Vinge attack Pogačar, winner bridges to Wout. Or Wout waits for them in the middle of the climb and all three attack Pog.
Problem is Pog is probably too strong and will cover all the attacks on his own.
Ineos rides for third place in GC. They don't need to attack for that.JV get a lot of flak on here but Ineos are doing a very good job of riding conservatively and hiding for the entire tour.
Catching the break on Galibier is already almost impossible at this point. So far this stage is being raced like a day where the GC riders wait for the final 3 kilometres of the MTF, when they turn out of the headwind, to do anything. The slower they climb Télégraphe, the faster they can pace Galibier without catching the break.
If the gap is too wide maybe its pointless to rely on WVA to support an attack.

I have lost all hope in Jumbo already. Van Aert will go for the stage, Vingegaard will attack with a kilometre to go.
JV team boss: "f***, how did you find out!"I have lost all hope in Jumbo already. Van Aert will go for the stage, Vingegaard will attack with a kilometre to go.
They will definitely do something on Galibier. Never expected anything on TelegrapheI have lost all hope in Jumbo already. Van Aert will go for the stage, Vingegaard will attack with a kilometre to go.
Was there any scenario where they would ride differently at this point?I have lost all hope in Jumbo already. Van Aert will go for the stage, Vingegaard will attack with a kilometre to go.
Is that Groenewegen only getting dropped just now?
I'm less concerned about Jumbo not pulling yet than I am about Van Aert working so much in the break. He is not looking like a rider who wants enough of a gap to get his lead over the Galibier but like a rider who wants enough of a gap to win the stage. They will definitely do something on Galibier. Never expected anything on Telegraphe
Why would you not set a decent pace up Télégraphe if the plan was to isolate Pogacar and attack on Galibier? Was there any scenario where they would ride differently at this point?
