'crank opinions'?

An elite athlete, among the fittest men on earth, has just ridden for 200km, at average speed of 45mph, up and down mountains, is then told at the end of the race he's ill

Yeah, I'm the crank

yes, crank opinions. I’m as bored of the stage so far as everyone else, so let’s waste a few minutes on this. are you insinuating that Covid isn’t a real illness, and that the millions of hospitalisations and deaths over the last couple of years are an incredibly elaborate hoax? Or are you just unaware of the linkage between Covid infections, vigorous exercise and rare but real cardiac issues?

Let's not, lets just discuss the race, in the racing forum.

What surprises me if the lack of fight to get in the break today. Normally if the majority in the peloton are convinced the break wins then there is an almighty scuffle for the break. They rode the early stages as if there is no point going in the break as GC will probs chase it down

I mean he has a point, I don't want to go into this too much bit it's starting to ruin cycling. Given how mild Corona now is I think we really need start assessing the rules. I mean how common was it for riders to ride with viruses in the past? Again, don't want to get into this too much, but it's not the same as it was 2 years ago...

Yeah, weird, I don't get it either.

It wasn't a sure thing from the start certainly that the break wins, but I would say at least 1 in 4 or so, and Alpe d'Huez! A lot more riders would have a chance to win here from the break than the peloton, but few cared to do anything.

If Vinny and Pogi come in together today, Pog receivers over the next few days and takes it to Vinny in third week and wins the TDF, Jumbo have no one to blame but themselves - the way Pog is looking today they could knock him out completely…….as in he could lose chunks of time
