To be fair, if you want to set up a big attack this is not the perfect way to do it. Usually the pull from the last domestique is really short but at an extremely high pace. Kuss really isn't doing that.
He had to come to the front way earlier than planned I think; Im sure JV wanted to save Sepp for the last steep part and now Sepp has to pace early and also try to be there late, a much bigger job.
