I think as well. We will know on the next steep part, because that is when Vingegaard will go full attack..I think Pog will go into yellow today.
Like you I think Pogacar will follow and counter.. its all down to who has the better legs today.

It depends on the outcome. If Vingegaard isn't going well, fakepacing is the right play, using reputation to protect, like Szmyd for Basso in 2012, and dissuading Pog from attacking sooner to minimise potential losses. If Vingegaard is going well and gains time when they eventually set out for home, then Kuss either should have gone harder, or is in fact only the 7th best climber in the race cos he's not dropping anybody now.Kuss is just fakepacing to troll Libertine
Hardest part of the climb hasn’t started yet, he needs to pace this a bit slower than his usual, since he needs to last much longer today.Kuss looks like he's pacing to get Wilco back on
The gel on his bidon. Didn’t like what was written there apparently as he threw it awayLol did Gall just read a note what's in his bottle?
Gall unbothered enough to check what gel he got with his bidon.
It amazes me that he has yet to do that given Javier Guillén's obsession with stages that finish on the steepest climb.Kuss will be riding the Vuelta for podium at this rate given how he seems to have got stronger since the Giro.
