Imagine if Vingegaard and Pogacar go early, so that Poels suddenly see both Van Aert and Soler sit up on the last climb, and get gifted a stage win :p

Clearly Neilandts fault. You don't reach out for a bidon in the middle of a corner. The moto guy handed him one because he assumed that Neilandts was safe to grab it. What was he supposed to do? shout 'non'?

I suppose he could have just asked for a moment, I mean does he ride along with one in the hand waiting to hand out ? or are they all in the back boxes and he has to reach around for it, not sure how that setup works as I dont think Id realised there was even a water motorbike in the peloton handing out bottles, though I was wondering where they kept getting all these bottles they keep pouring down their necks.

Enjoying the mental gymnastics from ES now that WVA has joined Soler, it’s all ok now, they’ve “obviously been given the green light” to attack.

Minute than 1 minute advantage from the front group to the chasers. I am starting to think that the winner may come from this group.

sad that it's already down to 3 possible winners. Was hoping it would be more exciting
Not on such a hard stage at the end of the second week. There were simply not enough good climbers in that group to compete with these three after 14 stages.
