That's what I think. So scared of a Pogacar counter that never existed.
I thought Pog was below par as well, but its so hard in those situations I think. Definitely scared to death by a counter, in hindsight I think he should have tried.

If you're stronger, use it, cos you might not be the next day. Think they would have learned after Roglic losing it in the TT after riding defensively all Your.
Was he stronger? Plenty of of more climbing to go to show yourself. Let your rival tire themselves out.
Good tactic to me plus yesterday he gained time and didn’t lose any today.

What a weird finish! First Pogacar told Yates to drill it and then let him go. What happened? I think he suddenly felt weaker at the end (glasses on OFC). Vinge could've attacked but was too scared and was just looking back all the time lol. Pog accelerated at the end but lacked his best punch. The ITT will be massive. Bazzoka effort after a rest day.

He looked a lot stronger tbh. When he covered Pogs attack (and he was seated doing that), he should have blown by him.
Looked to you and showed by beating his rival to the line without having to attack, well played in my opinion

Vinge with the mental game on the line.

These 2 guys are on the same level. There is nothing between them.

This was a Pogacar climb, but Vingegaard kept his wheel sitting down. Looking good before the TT and especially La Loze, where the tour will be decided

Exactly

Pogacar is becoming human, now were are almost in week 3, and that is exactly what Jumbo is banking on.

As said pre-Tour, the TT (to a minor degree) and the Courchevel stage (to a major degree), is where the Tour is decided.
