There are some then that were originally burgs but became more schloss like. Eltz and Hohenzollen so not always correct just to go off the name
French has the words château and forteresse. But it's probably not the same difference as in German.Nope, a fortified castle in German is called a Burg, A Schloss is more like an extremely elaborate Manor house

Pais Vasco last year, high speed downhill crash on a straight.I can’t recall any bad crashes downhill of his. Does he have any?
Hmm.
This is from two days ago and I am baffled. He mentions Oman 2019, but I just went through his results from start to end, including juniors and cadets, and he has never even raced in Oman.D’où vient cette peur ?
Nah, hearing Sepp Kuss is from Durango Colorado is the highlight of my experience. This is the commentator effect: Commentators are chauvinistic towards your nations riders, so you start to root against them because you are sick and tired of all the talk about them.
Do you guys experience that?
“There was of course a big crash during the Tour of Oman in 2019 which cost me two fractures, of the radius and the scaphoid in my left hand. But there were others,” he says. “And above all, sometimes on a descent, if there is a bit of rain, my wheel moves. And there, it’s as if everything is extinguished. He specifically named Oman 2019. Which I find weird, since he didn't even race in Oman in 2019.
Sounds like PTSD.“There was of course a big crash during the Tour of Oman in 2019 which cost me two fractures, of the radius and the scaphoid in my left hand. But there were others,” he says. “And above all, sometimes on a descent, if there is a bit of rain, my wheel moves. And there, it’s as if everything is extinguished.
“I’m scared because I have the impression that I’m going into the void with no control over anything. Like an air pocket in an airplane. And it’s over, the descent is stuck. I tense up and know that I have just fallen back into this fear. It’s as if, in my head, there is no more ground under my wheels.”
- yep he always mentions that. but also other unspecified crashes (or maybe close calls). He also mentioned rain but he clearly has problems even when it's dry. And it's been going on for years.
Latour was due to race the UAE tour in 2019, after racing in Australia in January, and crashed in training 1 day before the race after hitting a pothole. Fractured scaphoid and left radiusThis is from two days ago and I am baffled. He mentions Oman 2019, but I just went through his results from start to end, including juniors and cadets, and he has never even raced in Oman.
He left his intelligence at home. He is making useless attacks in stages that dont suit him at all, not saving energy which means when it will be favorable to him, he would be fatigued.

Latour didn‘t race from Australia until June in 2019, so maybe he crashed in training in Oman.

PCS Injury history page for him lists Fractured wrist for him in training on 22nd Feb 2019, the day after the Tour of Oman finished. Odd that he should link the injury to the race.Latour didn‘t race from Australia until June in 2019, so maybe he crashed in training in Oman.
Why talk about the race when you can talk about castles, testosterone in expectant dads, ptsd, commentators and linguistics. Great race that will probably heat up in an hour. I’m going to tear myself away from from the armchair psychology, go for a run and catch le crunch. The peloton is reeling in the break atm.
