Vinge tried at the end, Pog finished ahead of him.
That was barely an attack. Went longer round the turn and then just looked at Pogacar as they were coming to the line. Man's head is so on a swivel he couldn't even ride through the line without looking at Pog.

I have to admit it would be pretty funny if Pog was genuinely not feeling well & Grischa was on the radio screaming at Jonas "don't trust Pogi! He's bluffing!".

It could be a double bluff where Pog makes it look like he's really not feeling well so Jumbo think he's playing games... when in fact he's really not feeling well.

4D chess, TdF style.
No one are listening to/can even hear what DS's are saying in the last part of a race.

Imagine if Adam Yates podiums, he has looked stronger than Rodri despite also doing heavy work. How is Rodri at time trialing?

Very good, a little better than Yates I think, though Yates has been better this year, good results in Romandie and Dauphine.

interesting interview with Pog, they tried to improvise something with Yates, to make Jonas go for it, as Pog didnt think the climb was tough enough to create a gap on his own.

whether thats down to he was feeling tired, or he felt Jonas was as strong as him is the unanswered bit, but sometimes I guess you have to try something different, given how many people think Jonas should have attacked at that point shows its not a completely daft idea, had Pog then been able to counter obviously and get his own gap.

I’d love to see Pog for Roubaix but he’d have to not target the Tour that year, big difference between Ronde and Roubaix
He could feasibly do a year trying to win all the monuments as he's a contender in all of them imo, and just do the Vuelta as your GT.

He was 4th in last year's Vuelta TT, after Remco, Roglic and Cavagna

I hope you mean 3D, because otherwise they could just ride through the mountains instead of over them :p

Also the TV signal has a delay, to the DS can't watch what is going on real time from the car.

Adam yates better as Dom than riding for himself...We see that sometimes as the goal is clearer and the mental pressure less

Simon now needs to go work for one of the top GC riders and he will probably do better
Yes, Simon should have left Jayco a couple of years ago at least. He's too comfortable there and nothing's really changing for him. Needed a new environment to possibly bring out the best in him during his peak years. Probably too late now unfortunately.
