The plan of jumbo in this tour is clear. Make the race hard everyday to cause fatigue to everybody, and it's been working. They believe Vingegaard recovers better.
Exactly - they said it before the Tour and almost everyday in the Tour. They are not going to change the tactic they made before the race but will keep according to plan.

Jumbo nervous again. For Majka. Hope this bites them again later. Drop your doms and see Pogi launching would be lovely.
Off course they are nervous for Majka and what plans Pogacar have. He's a great contender and you never know if Vingegaard have a bad day. It's clearly risk-management and shows they want to control whats happening.
On the other hand it will probably give us a show and I do hope UAE isn't done yet. Suddenly more teams might be interested in joining in on something - maybe Ineos can come in a favorable position somewhere down the stage.

I don't think that matters, just like last year set the pace very high, and Vingegaard will ride the last 20-25km solo
sure if punctures and technical issues doesn't exist in bike racing. And that is seriously betting on Vinge being able to just drop Pogi from his wheel before they reach the thin air and steeo ramps.
The only way Pogi realistically comes back is if Jonas attacks with 50 k to go because Kuss is spent and then Jonas eats a lot of wind with Pogi on tow. or if they make it man vs. man from too far out and he has a puncture.

They also seem to be more relaxed now, so I guess it was Majka they didn't like.

that's better just man mark UAE riders.

the KOM points system has to change. GC riders are heavily favored as it is right now.
YES!
it's super boring that GC guys just wins it per default.

The bigger problem is that 4 out of 6 HC climbs are the final climb of the day, including the one that hands out double points. The KOM battle being slanted towards GC riders is a direct result of the stages not having enough climbing before the MTFs.

If Roselend was classified HC it would favor the attackers. But I guess tradition dictates that it can only be a cat 1

If it was mano-a-mano between Jonas and Pogi on a breakaway and Jonas flatted, Pogi would wait for him.

But with tubeless tires these days, a flat is highly unlikely.
