If you only watched the Giro 2022 then I'm totally with you that was a bad performance and judgement. Today isn't and Buchmann was very loyal and helpful as a helper since 2015 is career really started.

I'm not mad at people pointing out wrong behaviour or egoistic tactics, but the hate against Buchmann is completely based on one race and one stage. Kämna was also riding very egoistic in the Giro and was useless outside of the penultimate stage - no criticism here - and that's because some people are just spreading just stupid takes that get parotted by people who don't know better.

If Buchmann does nothing on Marie Blanque to help Hindley I will be also very critical of him and the team that allows such a behaviour but nothing up until know let me think that this will be the way.

No place to bluff, you always have hopium you catch Hindley on the run in to the line or even match him on the MB

For sure he's droppable but what it matters is how far. This is Giro 2019 all over again.

Good to see AG2R all in for Gall here. I also like Ineos going for Martinez. Overall little complaints regarding the break today, teams realizing they need to take risks and they held off an all out working UAE squad.
