What an acceleration by JV in the last kilometers of Tourmalet. Vinge got a monster gap of 2 mins in 4 km. But this time Teddy is where he should be, I don't think Skeletor expected that!
I think almost nobody expected that. Vingegaard could easily have ended Pog today, but Pogi was extremely strong!

Ineos rider attacking on the descent with Kwiatkowski up front?

Might just be Castro so no idea what he's doing.

It is unusual for Pog not to put in a dig of his own when going mano-a-mano up a hard climb. He usually likes to give his rivals something to think about.

Be glad it's not 1 rider who is this much better than the others.
Oh 100% let’s be real the rare times there are 3 plus riders in contention is because the level is lower. Would have been cool for Hindley to follow somehow but alas

He obviously has to try a different tactic/strategy this time, if he wants to have a chance to win.

Pog is strange. How was he so bad yesterday and so good today? Vingegaard was struggling and grimacing to drop him and he was looking superb.

Vingegaard should be leading on the downhill, to let Van Aert rest up for the flat and the early part of the last climb.

It would also allow Vingegaard to go full gas, because he knows Van Aert can keep up.

Yeh I had hoped so as well, but Hindley lost 1:40 on the Marie Blanque yesterday while he was able to sit in the break all day.
