Yes it’s been fine this season. He had some health issues in the spring (Covid in February and stomach bug/diarrhea during Catalunya), but things been going well since that.

Vingo is fairly easy to read: when at the limit, his cadence drops and he gets out of the saddle just to maintain momentum, not attack. Most people do that.

The period between his weak attack and Pogi's attack was a prime example.

On another note, I can't help but notice how similar Vingegaard pulling Pog over the Tourmalet is to Pogacar doing the same with Vingegaard on the Galibier last year. Would be insanely ironic if Vingegaard blows himself up and Pogacar drops him but I really don't see that happening.

Agree. Hindsight is 20/20 but yesterday there was nothing but blood in the water; it was not stupid of JV to believe they could stick the knife in hard today. Time gain but psychological hit too.

This is great. Jonas finally puts his nose in the wind without achieving separation and Pog will hurt him bad on the last climb.

I am very glad I was spot on today after seeing their faces on Tourmalet.
I hope all of you guys now realize Jonas is not what you all made him out to be, that unbeatable monster.
I hope JV are having a real sweat now, it is almost as if it would pay off to bring the best rider in the world to the TdF.
