This is how you a beat a pure climber. Wheelsuck and then attack. This is the right strategy for Pogacar. He can gain more seconds in stages like these. And we still have the ITT. Game on!

WOW what an exciting race!!! I've been out of town for the holiday, got home last night and was up all night catching up. Yesterday was awesome, Today was awesome. The 2 best bike riders on earth are trading blows. Congrats to so many for putting on a great show. Lord, WVA is so damned strong and then just checked out . MVP to him. Vingo will be in Yellow but for how long? Great Show, Kudos to all the major players!

Agree. Hindsight is 20/20 but yesterday there was nothing but blood in the water; it was not stupid of JV to believe they could stick the knife in hard today. Time gain but psychological hit too.

True, but they still should've tried to save Kuss for the last climb if possible. As strong as WVA was, Kuss would've lasted a lot longer and could've put Tadej under more pressure and negated his acceleration.

Psychologically that is huge for him. He never once managed to distance Jonas in last year's Tour.

I thought he attacked too early with 3km left but he was obviously feeling good enough to do it.

What is it with people talking about Pog 'wbeelsucking' today? He got absolutely murdered yesterday, Wout is driving it today, he rode exactly as he should have and it paid off massively.

Sunday will be very very interesting.
