Even if the profile doesnt say much before the last climb it has really been up and down all day on rolling terrain. Twists and turn. Warm and hot weather.

Long day and if someone has messed up their drinking/eating or feeling a bit tired before the rest day, it will be a hard last climb.

Could definitely see someone bonking it today.

ITV cut away from the cycling not for a retired rider on a motorbike or for interviews from this morning's Village Depart, but for a German professor of Geology to explain the structure of volcanoes.
Sounds much more interesting than most interviews and for sure more interesting than any moto report.

That's what EF gets, for only wanting 1 guy in the break, by shutting down all the secondary moves the first 50 K, instead of actually participating :D
Yeah. But seeing if Bettiol could get a free piggyback ride to the break was decent tactics. Helping the recent Tour de Suisse winner into the break is a bad investment.

That particular move (Skjelmose), sure, but they shut down 3-4 moves in a row the same way.

I've enjoyed Christian VdV on a moto speaking to the DS of different teams.
Christian VdV has been my favorite ex-rider on the moto, he does a great job, and NBC in general isn’t horrible with on the ground stuff, with Steve Perino also doing multiple interviews of regular citizens everyday. I prefer that part of NBC compared to GCN.
