Really surprised at the lack of anything from some teams. Like surely more than just DSM or EF want the stage

Turns out that it isn't about Yates/Almeida/Ayuso. Real question is Ayuso/Sivakov/Soler. Based on what I saw today Ayuso should do his turn after Soler.

Ayuso a bit cooked and UAE don't what Almedia to burn matches too early in the tour?
The truth is that, unfortunately, the stage isn't suited for any attack. Last climb too easy plus almost 20km flat ended to kill GC action

How many doms does Trek have to pace for peloton? At the bottom of the downhill it might be 2 minutes, and it won't be that easy to catch.

Edit: lol, forgot it's another climb

Doubt 2 Visma guys and 1 or 2 Trek guys (if they survive) can make up 2 minutes in the last 15km that are still slightly downhill. Maybe Campenaerts starts helping for Van Gils, but it's not like he can win. Or Healy needs to wait and work. Van den Berg is still there.
