You are dreaming if you think he could have beaten Merlier, Milan or Kooij if they are in position.

I think it might have been Rickaert who crashed in the beginning of the stage and that Kragh dropped back to help him after he was done at the front of the peloton.Illness going around?
I don't really buy the explanation from the team. Seems rather constructed. I haven't heard Søren Kragh say anything about pain in the interviews.Jonas Rickaert, Soren Kragh Andersen and Yevgeniy Fedorov didn't make the time cut.
His lead out was in 'lane 3', Démare then launches in 'lane 2' and immediately switches to 'lane 1' to block Van Aert. He noticed him plenty. If the Area lead-out launches more towards the barrier, Van Aert would never pick the barrier lane as he'd know that Démare would launch there. If you make it illegal for Démare to launch in the lane his lead-out rider set up for him as soon as a rider from behind moves in that direction, you incentivise more riders to launch their sprint from far back along the barriers where you will have a crash if one of the sprinters ahead don't notice him.

Over head is bad and he was warned previously so they have to do something.
Looking at the heli shot posted above, I'm not actually sure he was aware of him.His lead out was in 'lane 3', Démare then launches in 'lane 2' and immediately switches to 'lane 1' to block Van Aert. IVillenueve-sur-Lot sounds like a French-American rapper from the 90s (his hit record obviously being called Baby Got Baguette).
Ilikegot. Big. Balls and i can not lie. You other brothers can`t deny.
Me, too. But I should say "Chapeau" to Girmay's success, today. He is having a dream Tour, which is nice.First stage this year after which I‘m gutted![]()
That's all fine and dandy, but as he was the front sprinter at that particular moment, there wasn't even a 'lane'. There was nothing in front of him besides tarmac, yet he chose to swerve. If you make it illegal for Démare to launch in the lane his lead-out rider set up for him as soon as a rider from behind moves in that direction, you incentivise more riders to launch their sprint from far back along the barriers where you will have a crash if one of the sprinters ahead don't notice him.

Pogačar has had one light crash at each of his last four GTs iirc and he‘s crashed at Liège last year for example.PCS stat today
