This is the one I'll pick if Van Aert finishes 11th or worse:

You should pick this afterall its Vingegaard best ever performance ever.

I guess I shouldn't say this, but that wouldn't even be that bad. I could think of much, much worse - part of me quite like Vingegaard, and I certainly respect him a ton. Even though I still have no clue how Pog could mess that up!

Youre gonna get Pogi freewheeling up Plateau de Beille no hands after Jonas 7 w/kg attack

Ayuso would’ve sealed his 2nd place here behind Pogi with a stage win.

If Pogi goes full, more than a minute on everyone.
Vingo 2nd, Remco 3th.
If he rides carefully, around 20” win.
For your sake i hope this is irony😅 Ayuso second place in the GC and a stage win in the last TT beating Remco,Pog and Vinge? He has talent, but is nowhere near the level og Pog,Vinge and Remco. That is very clear.

Remco has 12-0-0 in TT’s against Pog and Vinge in all competitions. Unforunatelly it is possible that this statistic gets ruined tomorrow, but If Pog beats Remco tomorrow it will be with a very small margin,0-10 seconds, and Pog need to go all in to do this. I know Remco won only with 12 seconds to Pog on the last TT that had one 2k climb in it, and the climb tomorrow is longer, but its about pacing the climb correctly and Remco is the best in the world doing this in a TT.

What about the weather? Read some reports that rain is expected. But the weather app I checked has sunny weather for Nice. Rain in the late afternoon could result in a surprise winner. Campenaerts has said he will go 100%, and he starts reasonably early.

Only potential changes among the top 10 that I can imagine:

Yates 1s ahead of Rodriguez. 6th/7th.
On paper Rodriguez might be slightly better in TTs but with the climb and the trend of the last few days I think Yates defends his spot.

Ciccone 22s ahead of Buitrago. 10th/11th
Who sucks less? Buitrago obviously isn't a TT specialist but Ciccone is as bad as it gets for a GC rider. Wouldn't be suprised if Buitrago takes this.
Those seconds gained with the sticky bottle might shade it for Buitrago....... seriously though, is there much gain from these 'sticky bottles? Ciccone made a pretty big deal over it.

Buitrago is not that crap in ITT. He will come 10e GC easy tommorow

So while I buy that Pogi doesn't want to take risks in the descend, I still think he has a decent shot at winning. The climbing is to his advantage and even if he manages to descend slower than Remco, the latter might be to far back already. If he want's to equal Merckx in GT stage wins in one year he needs the stage, maybe that's a motivation.

Tomorrow real potential for Remco heartbreak when he realizes that if he races all out for 34 kilometers he is often untouchable..He currently wears rainbow jersey confirming it.

With the GC being so set, it would probably been best with a celebration stage around the cost with a sprint in Nice.

I looking forward to see top 10 in the TT today. But it’s a little weird way to finish one of the best Tours in my life.

I think 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the GC finish 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the stage today.

The climb surely takes Campernaerts out of contention for a top 5, no? Also, I'm not sure the aforementioned climb will swing the balance of power from Remco to Pog. I'll take Remco for the ITT stage wins sweep.

Wow, you really think it's been that good of a Tour? Now I'm curious to see how everyone rates this edition.
