I agree Philipsen is still the favourite but Pedersen is climbing at a really top level, I don't think Philipsen comes close
True, I think Pedersen in previous years have struggled to consistently place top 5 in sprints, he can win one day and get boxed in the next. He keeps saying that the stage win is the priority and the Green is mostly something that comes as a bonus if the stage winning part goes really well.

But yeah, if Phillipsen can 4+ stage wins he can probably defend the jersey in final week. I don't think Mads P will go too much points hunting in the mountains until the second half of the tour if he has a good shot at taking the Green.

Danish TV2 commentary explaining Uno-X develops their own bikes (I did not know that), and had a new mountain bike delivered for today's stage.

If that's the case and if that's a good thing why are they switching to Ridley next season?

I have no idea, it's the first I heard of it.

Apparently they have the former bike developers for the Danish national track team employed as bike developers - and they are currently developing the bikes they use (which Dare then manufactures).

I'm hope someone with more knowledge about Uno-X can elaborate.

Insane pace so far despite the headwind.
No headwind on Sestriere.
I think they still want to keep yellow. Some riders within 3min on GC in the break so can’t let them go way too far.
It will be very difficult to keep the jersey, but the most favourable scenario is letting the break go to take the stage and bonus seconds, and then manage the gap behind them.

As far as I l know:
The commercial aspects of DARE for the personal market has not come off as hoped. As a part of a cost-cutting program, they’re instead signing with Ridley to get income rather than expenses related to the bikes.

The bikes themselves are supposedly very good.

When does elf get busy with control? Pogi might as well kept yellow
As someone else explained it wasn't necessarily to leave responsibility to another team, but to allow Pogacar more rest without having the yellow jersey obligations post-race.

According to Voigt, who talked to the BORA team car, there was no problem for Roglic, he was just badly positioned in the beginning and then had to bridge after some splits. But, what else should they say.

I think that was also the case for Bernal. If you hang near the back and the peloton splits, you will have to bridge across.

Jonas and Tadej will go full gas on Galibier.
