No, Abramachine needed to take 5th to still be ahead on point at the end of the stage - and he got 5th - then promptly dropped to the sprinters groupetto :p

Girmay is in 2nd, Pedersen in 3rd, both really close to the lead.

Maybe there is a small chance van Aert could be in the mix tomorrow. Gradients not that steep after all.

With the stage ending with a post-Galibier descent however, van Aert himself is fancying his chances of success.
"Normally that's something that suits me," the Belgian admits. "What my role will be, will still have to be determined. It depends on how the other guys do in supporting Jonas. Based on that, we can decide what I'm going to do.
