This stage is an opportunity for visma. They have by far the strongest team in the flat. But the risk is high IMHO, even if they can kill pogs team they are unlikely to kill Pog and if he jumps with mvdp or anyone else visma will have created a problem.

If I were them I would probably not push my luck but I hope they do cause it's more fun to watch

It's not like Rogla had an unlucky puncture. It was his own (and his team's) fault to miss the split.

If Pogacar lost an opportunity to put time into Vingegaard later in the stage by using his team to bury Roglic, that would be a net negative for UAE, regardless of where Ayuso was.
