I was wrong to say it was Pog's fault but I think it's just a racing incident, THJ doesn't have much blame.

Not true. Pog’s deviation was a reaction to THJ deviation.

Helicopter view does make it seem like Pog didn't do much wrong other than maybe not anticipate. Johannessen cut too soon.

I feel like the crash was just an accident. Don't feel anyone is really at fault. That was a hard crash though. Could be the opening Jonas was looking for.

I do agree. Like in any forms of racing sport, sometimes crashes just happen that are accidents and not fully in one persons fault.

No, i'm looking at the crash and decide from body movement on my thoughts. I can be completely wrong ofcourse.
Adrenaline and all. But Remco was grabbing his ribs. Tadej body language afterwards looked like he was fine.
Right after as well, when they showed him after the finish. He looked okay. Can't guarantee it. But Tadej always seems to get lucky when he crashes. and at first glance this looked the same. I honestly think he won't suffer much from this. He did not look to have broken anything. His arm had red marking. But it did not seem to hinder him. I have no doubt he'll be smoking the rest of the field tomorrow.

I remember last year Pog almost crashing when the peloton parted around some street furniture and he wasn't paying attention, but managed to keep it up. Less fortunate this time, but hopefully he's ok.

He even caused another crash by that mistake.

But still feel you dont wait for anyone who crashes unless you wait for everyone...and riders dont..and to suggest its sportsmanship is such rubbish to do it for some and not others ....but I guess that is why cycling is always stuck in the past with made up as you go rules.

It is so unfair and crashing is part of the sport. Why should anyone get preferential treatment ?

What? Actually this year a rule was added so this doesn‘t happen anymore, which is now not applied, but the 3k rule had that unfair side to it already back then.

I'm mostly a Remco fan...but that was not Pog's fault at all. His front wheel was cut by the rider bombing to the right. I've never heard so many say you are responsible for your front wheel...LOLOLOL! Hard to do when a rider takes your wheel out. Racing incident for sure. I hope it doesn't affect the total outcome of the race.
