I'm no Jorgenson fan cause he is a very tactical rider. Smart and gives results. And i'm constantly harping on riders not riding smarter, but i kinda like the dudes that every now and then just say: here's goes nothing and just go.
I would say Jorgenson's riding so far hasn't really been that tactical. He's attacked the most out of any of the GC guys.

no pro wants to win like that (unless they are Contador...chain-gate, haha). particularly if it is the absolute favorite/GOAT who goes down.

you wait on the day.

once they catch up and cannot stay with further fireworks, then all's fair.

I think the thinking is also, that the "advantage" could play out over the next few days if the injuries have any effect, and again at that point, all's fair.

They should have continued to ride, all part of the game. On the other hand Contador still get *** for his acceleration when Schleck had a mechanical and that is what, like 14 years ago.
Fwiw I'm glad they waited, or if they had attacked at least having the guts to admit they did it.

I'm still bitter about certain riders attacking in those situations and then pretending they didn't know.

I disagree on that. He waits and times his attacks. Hoping to get some sneaky easy time. I haven't seen one Jorgenson attack where i thought why does he do that at this point in the race. his attacks are tactically timed. Today as well. He did not went at the foot of that final climb. Not even at the top. he went during a moment where everyone was kinda looking around wondering if the fireworks were over and they were just going to ride in together.

Exactly. It's not Visma who b.tch and moan about UAE or Pogi, it's always the other way around. Even today Jorgenson was clearly reluctant to say anything about Pogi's comments earlier in the race, but he just couldn't help himself as it was such low hanging fruit (and good on him).
To be fair, it seems as though that bitching was not so much bitching as media (or social media) framing his answers to explicit questions in some controversial way.

Like with him saying visma was 'annoying' with the attacks, it was clear he was trying to make a joke, and it was reported as 'pogacar being sassy' or whatever.

So after the crash fest and s***show that the Giro was now we get Almeida (the third best climber in the world) out and Pog crashed.
Pathetic route, crashes, bidongates. This highly anticipated TDF is aging like a bag of p***.

I think the fact you have to specify this in brackets tells me you're not totally sure this is true.

Literally one rider out of the potential Top 10 has crashed out, that basically happens every Tour, it‘s been tame crashwise.

I would have been 100% sure if he stayed in the race.
The same way we won't know what a healthy Pog would have achieved.

He didn't go at the foot of the climb... are you being serious? Of course he didn't. Even Pogacar usually attacks over the top.

He's not a "let the chips fall where they may fall" kind of rider, but he has been the guy causing the most trouble for Pogi in terms of having to respond, so far.

Pogacar will be fine. He will still win and break climbing records. Almeida would've finished somewhere behind the podium.

He really lives rent free in your head
Maybe it is the opposite mate. It wasn't me who show (once again) a tremendous incoherence (I'm not taking about you).
"Pogacar crashes, he is good and this will not hamper him". With Remco is a completely different conversation". Incoherence at his best!
