"Pogi's fault". Some of those who posted this will eventually disappear today and not post anymore. Even the rider admitted his own fault.
He's being bombarded with hate from people who are incapable of even considering the idea that Pogacar might done something wrong... He's not the expert here. He's the wrong person to ask.

Oh please... he is a normal man who is aware of his behaviour.

With hindsight it makes the peloton's "full gas" attack after the bunch crash in Slovenia on the cobbles in the Giro all the more remarkable - especially from Visma.

That one was even more notable because a whole load of riders hit the deck. No one waited.

Johannessen didn't do anything wrong btw. Everyone moved to the right except Pogacar, he just wasn't paying attention.
It seems that most riders started moving to the right after Pog had already fallen, to be fair.

At any rate, both things can be true at once: perhaps Pog wasn't paying enough attention, and might've been able to avoid the crash, but Johanssen's move coming from behind and swerving abruptly wasn't the easiest to predict.

So after the crash fest and s***show that the Giro was now we get Almeida (the third best climber in the world) out and Pog crashed.
Pathetic route, crashes, bidongates. This highly anticipated TDF is aging like a bag of p***.
in terms of GC, it really starts tomorrow.

When the pack moves, you move with, and you expect everyone else to do the same. If professional cyclists couldn't trust each other to do that, road racing wouldn't exist. And while it is true that THJ's move was too abrupt that only happened because Pogacar had seemingly forgotten there was still a race on.

That‘s the difference between all GC riders and no stage win vs. Sprinters and needing to catch the breakaway for the sprinters. Olav Kooij and Kaden Groves can‘t wait for riders they‘re not even racing directly if it means losing a chance at a stage.

Another one... Maciejuk also got threatened because of Pogacar's fans? Can you not see this has nothing to do with fanbases?
This is a society's problem and why social media is a "cancer".
Not condoning the treatment of Maciejuk, but there's a difference between one of the most stupid and dangerous moves I've ever seen a rider make and a racing incident. If the latter is now a guarantee of abuse and threats if Pogacar is negatively impacted then no rider is safe.

No, he got threatened because he crashed the whole peloton in a really horrific manner - while attempting a move that happens constantly and is never punished if nothing goes wrong even though it is always against the rules. Two different ways in which random people can act like unhinged psychos.

This is the point. There will always be stupid people threatening riders regardless the rider they took down.
