Yes, it's a false flat, sprinter-friendly ITT. Check official profile. Is there any chance that Remco could win this?
interesting video...I wish I could have grasped the part about entropy in the universal cubeMaybe this video can help you with that

The bookies give Remco a payout of x34 to win tomorrow's stage. Lipowitz is x17 and Pogacar x1.16Is there any chance that Remco could win this?
Holy *** I can win 0.16 kidney tomorrow. The bookies give Remco a payout of x34 to win tomorrow's stage. Lipowitz is x17 and Pogacar x1.16
At least now there might be a closer battle for 2nd & 3rd.I didn't expect this before but the TT looks way less anticipated right now. Pogacar is already destroying the competition in the GC. It seems the race for victory is over (barring some disaster).

This reminds me of the 2001 Tour, with the Alpe d'Huez stage followed by the mountain TT up to Chamonix (I believe, might be misremembering).
Chamrousse is what you’re thinking of! And yes it does feel similar (and like we can expect a similar outcome…)This reminds me of the 2001 Tour, with the Alpe d'Huez stage followed by the mountain TT up to Chamonix (I believe, might be misremembering).
You're right, it's just that I expect the cameras to remain largely on Pog and Jonas. And random French dudes of course.Ofc if youre only watching to see who wins, you can prolly skip. But there are so many other interesting riders and storylines to follow. Obiviously you'd much rather watch a stage like this than stage 3 this year
Yeah, that was my thinking except, no way Vinge ships a minute, I think Chamrousse was longer, wasn't it?Which means Vinge will ship another minute tomorrow if it follows the same logic (Ullrich lost nearly 2 minutes versus Lance on Alpe that year the day before the mountain ITT).

Are you sure your numbers are correct? As per PCS we have 602 metres of net elevation gain tomorrow compared to 777 metres tomorrow.I think the best comparison is the Alpe di Siusi MTT in 2016 - 10.8km v 10.9km; 2.5km flat v 2.9km flat; 8.3km at 8% v 8km at 7.9%. It's almost identical, and that one also came after an excellent and hard Dolomite stage.
We had OK gaps there, about a minute separating the top ten, and 2:10 to Nibali. Expecting something similar, though extended ofc because of the Pog effect and also the slightly weak depth of the field here (especially considering many of the better second tier climbers ride for UAE or Visma).
