Roglic was impressive, but don't know much one can read into it, as this kind of effort just suits him specially well. In 2023 Giro he was also a lot stronger compared to his rivals on a MTT than on road stages in the mountains. But it does give his fans reason to hope that his could improve more as the race goes on.

Honestly, I think it would be stupid to continue, something is just not right here. He looks completely empty and it seems pointless to continue for simple pride. Unless something radical happens overnight he is going to be destroyed tomorrow and next week doesn't look any better. Reassess what's going on, recoup, and set some different goals for the remainder of the year.
