i only asked because I am not reading the forum to finsdout what you were talking about ...but still you dont answer so never mind
I'm sorry if I sound rude. It's not my intention :) Sometimes I am ambiguous on purpose, because it simply is ambiguous. But I literally wrote in my first post exactly what I meant. (My response to you probably was made when I did too much multitasking as it's absolutely weird. Sorry :/)

I think this post elaborate on it a bit more https://forum.cyclingnews.com/threa...-de-la-loze-171-5k.40645/page-56#post-3236133

As to who I was thinking about; I'm thinking about Pog. I'm not saying he is 100% like that (or I would've used his name), but both him and his fans has a way of speaking/acting that makes it sound like they haven't noticed that he's no underdog anymore.

Some people like such things whereas I don't.

Hope this explains my thinking better. :)

its nothing ot do with like or not like...in fact i have no feelings either way for any of them ...I watch the race and say what I see....i dont even know who is the pretender you speak of...your comments are just irrational bias
You do not know you mentioned Lipo and Onley in your post?

Well, the Move guys certainly don't understand any of Visma's tactics. Sure to wear down Pog, but what were they doing.

They've taken to calling the tactics Youtube gamer tactics, In other words, an open war with LRCP boys and the work the do with visma. Wasn't Broe hired as a tactical advisor? I mean it literally looks like Benji drew up the days tactics and was calling in audibles to the car that included sending Jorg up his second break of the day (or maybe third break), and having Vingo sit up to wait for the calvary. I mean, friggen bizarre.

It has been a good Tour, but unfortunately for the fans the best stages on paper are at a point in the race where Pogacar and Jonas are running out of steam. Pog knows he just has to follow wheels with the advantage he has, and I don't think Jonas is willing to risk his podium position.

Overall he lost like 3:20 min on the climb. After the effort he put in and probably over doing it by attacking after not really resting after coming back, I think he did pretty well do limit his losses on a 26,k climb.
He did a great job settling down and keeping his pace, impressive level of motivation and self control.. Cutting yourself into pieces for a result. Big fan.. For the effort not the ultimate end!!

The Move are old school, elementary school basic.. If you have only @21 times to try something and it hasn't worked 17 of those times.. Why try something again.. Most stoves only have @4 burners to touch.. Visma says ouch and just keeps on!! There is nothing dynamic about poking yourself in the eye day after day

Perhaps I was too harsh with respect to my comments regarding Sepp today. Wouldn't be the first time I posted before my brain caught up with my finger; my bad.

Visma doesn't have any tactics. Frankly they never had them. They simply were the strongest team and could afford their total cycling approach. Galibier 22 being an exception that proves the rule.
What kind of tactics are you looking for when the sport is 99% who can pedal hardest?

This year's Giro was pretty good. I don't think Yates was actually the strongest rider in the race, but he still won. Besides the coup on the (descent of the) Finestre, Yates and the whole team laid low for 3 weeks, letting others wear each other down then mark each other out of the race.

Visma are pretty good at getting a satellite rider up the road when it suits them. They did that on Ventoux with a couple of riders, who were in an excellent position to help Vingegaard extend a gap if he could have opened one to begin with. There's just not much you can do when your main rival is basically invincible. Sure, it might help if they had two Vingegaards, but Pog looks so imperious this tour that he might just mark them both no problem.

The Move is just a bad listen. All they do is moan about Vismas tactics, but usually when it comes to mountain stages, they are just much better tactically prepared than UAE is. Its not even close really the amount of times they have put offensive or defensive riders out front to either discourage Pog from attacking or in case there was a gap, extend it. And what the hell did the guys from The Move want Visma to do?

With everything that happened (and not), I never checked about Lenny Martinez again. He got an 8pt kom penalty in the end + 2x200 CHF.

Lenny should at the very least be deducted 20 points from Glandon. AT THE VERY LEAST
I don‘t know. He had to go well behind the group because there was a moto in between and after the bottle changes he wasn‘t any closer to the group and still had to come back. I don‘t think it really helped him so I think 8 points are reasonable.
