Brick is pretty risky where I live in the Rockies. High earthquake risk, and good luck getting that insured in this area. But I wish more construction in the US would be built for the long term rather than just wood frame with sheet rock stapled on to it.
Same here in the northern Sierras...we're not too far from a fault in Nevada that has been acting up a bit. A geyser errupted a couple of weeks ago in south Reno, and there has been more seismic activity there lately. A bit worried they are going to get a bigger earthquake soon.

I'm going to start gesticulating wildly for the most innocuous reasons on group rides from now on and claim that I've been severely wronged just out of solidarity with pro sprinters.

Adam Yates is safely back in the group.
Italians get a buffer on those, like in football..

We're either worried about wildfires or earthquakes here. Had a 5.2 in 2020 that freaked everyone out. I've been through a 7.5, and I have no desire to ever experience that again. You all be safe out there.

We'll see if the leading teams go to the foot of this next climb like they're heading into Arenberg Forest
